astridge scored the last three goals of the game to defeat Wayne 5-4 in their season opener.  The Lancers trailed for most of the first half before tying the game with 4:15 left in the first half.  They continued their streak in the second half with the only goal.  In total, Eastridge held the Eagles scoreless for just short of 40 minutes.

eneva scored 10 unanswered goals in their 14-6 win over Eastridge.  This was the first time since before 2005 that the Panthers and Lancers have faced.  Audra Burrall had a great game between the pipes and recorded 9 saves for Geneva.  Offensively, Lauren DeVaney finished with 5g-2a to lead the Panthers.
